Ride to Work Contest

This contest was designed and proposed by club member Pat Bohan. He also volunteered to perform the award’s administrative functions.
Purpose: To promote gasoline conservation among club members.
Two Winners:
Highest Percentage of Miles to Work/Total Miles Ridden
Using this percentage will give those members who do not ride often or far a chance to be a winner.
Most Miles Ridden to Work
This will reward the highest miles to work rider.
Time Period:
Calculate miles driven to work and total miles driven from June 1 to October 31.
(If you ride the same route to work every day, note the number of days you drive to work. Multiply by the number of miles from home to work times two, for the round trip.)
Result Reporting:
All results are to be presented to Pat Bohan by November 25.
